Reputation score guild membership / Industry limit Guild NFT lands
With the 2.5 update we will also see a rework of the reputation system in Pixels. A list of new reputation scores have been shared on Discord. I’m missing one and that is receiving reputation for being active in a guild. REPUTATION SCORE FOR BEING IN A GUILD: As mention several times during AMA Guilds are an important social network within the Pixels ecosystem where players meet, share and enjoy Pixels together. My best decision so far when I started to play Pixels was being introduced to a guild by a friend. They have their own Discord where we hang out, discuss goals and strategies, chat offline or while playing Pixels. Our guild has several NFT lands some public and one closed just only accessible for Guild members. Being able to do my daily tasks on a closed NFT land without having to worry if all industries are being used, trees are cut etc. and not having to roam open NFT lands to be able to do my daily tasks is a huge benefit. Pro: Buying a Guild shard burns Pixels. Add an emphasis for solo players to join social groups. Boost future Guild related events. (Guild wars) Cons: None Considerations: Guild reputation is only rewarded for one guild and does not stack. Guilds need to have an minimal X amount of members before guild reputation is rewarded to prevent players from creating a guild solo just for receiving Guild reputation. Guild reputation is removed when a player is no longer in any guild (has sold shard) like the VIP reputation which is removed after a player no longer has VIP. REDUCE INDUSTRY LIMIT GUILD NFT LANDS: The 2.5 update will likely bring a industry cap for NFT lands during phase 2 of the 2.5 update. While I understand the underlaying direction of the decision to cap industries I would love to see a benefit of guild NFT lands over public NFT lands by nullify or at least reduce the industry limit for NFT lands owned by a Guild. Pro: There is still an emphasis for Guilds to have a closed Guild NFT land for Guild members with the benefits for being in a Guild. This benefit will reduce when Guild members are forced to roam public lands to be able to do their daily tasks. It is less likely that guild owners owning several NFT lands are closing public lands and returning them to Guild only which might reduce the amount of public lands. Cons: None Considerations: None

Taskboard Game-Loop Changes
Right now, the taskboard loop looks like this for many players: players look at their taskboard, rush to the marketplace, buy items, flip tasks for rewards, repeat. Many players spend more time doing the taskboard than they do actually playing the game. For these players (which is many of them) the taskboard is just gambling - buying coins to use on marketplace, hoping to get enough pixel from the taskboard to make a profit. This leads to a lot of disappointment and frustration when players think their taskboard 'is bad today'. Proposed solution: -Create new items to be turned into the taskboard (we'll call them TbItems for now). TbItems are end-loop. They are crafted using other items as ingredients and are burned when turned in to complete tasks. They cannot be traded or purchased in the marketplace. The ingredients needed to craft the TbItems should directly or indirectly include various items from the same tier, and every in-game resource should be used directly or indirectly to craft one or more different TbItems. Each industry in each tier should have one or more TbItem recipe. -Update taskboard to require one or more TbItem in every task. Have a number of slots available for tasks from each tier. Tasks can also require other items as well. The number of tasks available in each slot each day does not need to be limited. The tasks on the taskboard should reset every few days instead of daily, to give players time to craft the TbItems, while ensuring they don't get stuck on tasks they don't want to do for too long. Reasoning -Requiring crafting of the TbItems encourages gameplay and pulls users out of the same loop of running back and forth to the marketplace. Players spend more time playing the game and less time flipping tasks. -Ensuring all in-game resources are included in the direct or indirect crafting of the TbItems also gives purpose to each resource in every tier. -Players are less encouraged to just buy coins to spend on marketplace in hopes of making 'profit' on taskboard. When they aren't just gambling on the taskboard, they will feel less disappointment and less frustration with the game. -Seeing tasks on your taskboard that you can't complete because you haven't leveled up enough encourages leveling up and playing the game more, while having dedicated slots on the taskboard for each tier still ensure players can complete tasks. -Turning in tasks will feel more rewarding and give players more sense of accomplishment. Leveling up and being able to turn in the higher tier tasks will also feel (and be) more rewarding.
